NKY Freshman Football

Featured Replies

Dayton beat Ludlow 13-12 Dayton held a two point conversion to win. Ludlowhad 15 players and Dayton only had 12 and one wet down with injury.

Big win for the Devils. REminds me of 1985 when I was a freshman and we had 12 players, called us the Dirty Dozen. ONe lone guy over on the sideline and he was 5'2 125lb soaking wet. Glad they both put together a team. Which brings me to, does Bellevue have a Freshman team?

Yes I would, unless of course they want 1st and 2nd year officials working. Even if that is the case, I would assume they would not want a 1st or 2nd year official as a white hat. I could be wrong, but I don't see it happening.

I don't think that you have anything to worry about. :thumb:

Anyone know how the Boone freshman did this week?

I guess that answered my questoin about Bellevue having a Frosh team. Why doesnt Beechwood schedule Dayton/Ludlow and Bellevue on their Frosh schedule?

Because Ludlow, Dayton and Bellevue are all playing with freshman and sophomres this year to make sure they can always field a team. They have their own freshman division they made up this year pretty much with Ludlow, Dayton, Bellevue and Brossart. And all will play each other twice and will also have like a little playoff for these teams as well....

The Freshman/Sophmore league that was created this year contains Bellevue, Ludlow, Dayton, Bracken County, and Walton Verona

Beechwood is playing straight Frosh only games with LLoyd, Holy Cross, NewCath, and Newport with each one playing each other twice.

CovCath and Highlands tied at zero at end of regulation. Going to overtime. Sounds like an exciting game. Go Birds!
