Now thats what I call respect.

LaSalle is consistently bottom half of the GCL South or so it seems. But still too much for CCH this year. CCH lost A LOT.

CCH will have to stop DeVier Posey, one of the top WR's in the country and headed to play for my Buckeyes!

Yeah, he will be tough to syop, but if CCH can hold him to a few reception, CCH has a good chance of coming with an upset. CCH's run defense has played great in the 2 scrimmages, so im not too wooried about LaSalles running game.

LaSalle has an o-lineman who has committed to UK. My guess is they will run behind him occasionally.

I almost expect a good game. CCH is so disciplined and talented that any other year I would not be so doubtful. I'm sure that in a few weeks things will start to work themselves out and they will be just fine.

I think it will be a good game also 32. For all the hype about Ohio football (and don't get me wrong, they play good football) the Ky teams usually do pretty well against them (with a couple of exceptions). This is one of the few times I'm really cheering for CovCath. Go over there and earn, no demand, respect from those Ohio kids. Even if you get beat, make LaSalle know they were in a really physical game when they get out of bed the next morning. With a spirit....

I like LaSalle by three touchdowns or more.

Party pooper:D

They're predicted to finish fourth.

Really? Most of the talk I've heard has them only behind X and Colerain in the city. I'll guess we will see Saturday. It's a great opportunity for the kids to play in a big game and see how they matchup. From a fans standpoint, there aren't many places better to watch a high school football game than UC's Nippert Stadium.

LaSalle in a big way, same old story with GCL school they have over 1000 boys to pull from and CCH has 500. Last year would have been different but this is an extremely inexperienced CCH squad with losing 18 starters and their best player(Buckley is out for 6 weeks). I hate to say this but this will be a long year unless they move forward quickly over the next month or so

LaSalle 42

CCH 7

No, I said should, as in if they have 7 signed D1 players on their team that they SHOULD be the team to beat in the GCL this year. What reality is has nothing to do with SHOULD.:D

I always find it funny when one catholic all boys school complains about the size of another catholic all boys school.

That's one thing I will agree with you on..........:thumb:

In the preseason coaches' poll, Lasalle is ranked sixth behind St. X, Colerain, Elder, Lakota West, and Moeller.

I would love to see CovCath pull off the upset and beat Lasalle, but their are too many questions about this CovCath team. If this game was later in the season, I think it would be a much closer game than what it will be this weekend.

Tough game for the colonels......Would be nice to start the new coach off with 1.00% winning percentage, But without Buckley lets just get through this game, hopefully with a W, and look forward to NCC next week.
