35+ for LaSalle and 14 to 17 for CovCath.

Interesting, I thought the defense looked good so far. To give up 35+ would be suprising and dissapointing. On the other hand if the offense does not at least keep the ball away from Lasalle it could be a long tiresome day for the defense. Special teams could be huge for the Colonels.

Against a rebuilding Ryle squad and Bacon? I hope the Defense is as stout as many expect them to evolve into, but being good against those teams and being good at Nippert against LaSalle are horses of different colors.

While I'm hoping for a huge CCH upset, from a logical standpoint it is hugely unlikely.

I agree, Lasalle has more D1 SIGNED players on its roster than just about all the other teams in Cincy and NKY combined.

So did Bowling Green last year.

You're right, this team is much better than LaSalle's. I'm sorry I posted.

Apples and oranges. LaSalle's boys aren't heading to WKU (and I mean that as no slight to my alma mater). Not to mention, the depth for LaSalle will be a huge difference. I assume you were making a point that D-1 signees don't equate to great teams, and I agree with that, but in this case it is just one of the many reasons LaSalle will probably run off and hide.

Agree on all points.

Although I think you underestimate the level of schools the BG players did and will be going to. Hines is at UK. They have a couple of players on this year's team that will be play major D1 as well.

You took it the wrong way.

You are 100% correct in regards to this year. However, D1 players do not always equate to victory over teams without D1 talent. Thus, the BG/CCH reference.

I got ya now. Just so I am clear and all D1 references aside, I think that not only does Lasalle have a ton of talent they are way too much for the blue Colonels. Lasalle should be the team to beat in the GCL this year. enuf said.:thumb:

To say it will be "challenging" for the Colonels on Saturday would be more than a mild understatement.

I almost expect a good game. CCH is so disciplined and talented that any other year I would not be so doubtful. I'm sure that in a few weeks things will start to work themselves out and they will be just fine.

They're predicted to finish fourth.

Slim and none...........:D

Probably closer to none.

Probably closer to none.

Come on, how about a respect? Sometimes the best team does not win. Thats why we play the game.

They're predicted to finish fourth.

I said SHOULD didn't I?
