August 1, 200719 yr You would have to mean the Eastern KY/Eastern OH border. Because "pop" definitely isn't a NKY thing. I'm from NKY and I have always referred to it as pop.

August 1, 200719 yr When you look at the map by county, you get some pretty strange results. Northern Kentucky prefers "coke" while Hamilton County in Ohio prefers "pop". Also, I-75 seems to be the split for the rest of Kentucky. East of I-75 its "pop" while west of I-75 its "coke".
August 2, 200719 yr Here in Western KY most people call it either soda or coke. I use to use the term coke as a youngster but usually say soda now. I have never called it POP
