July 26, 200719 yr Not one comment about the double that Dunner legged out...sad. Especially in light of 47% of BGP Posters referring to him (Comically inaccurate) as slow and lazy most of the time. I like Welsh's comment, leading by example. That follows up Brantley's comment on the radio during the Marlins' series that Dunn had put someone up against the wall in the Clubhouse. Obviously, Brantley liked that and was praising it. Again, I say there is no way that Dunn is dealt. The Reds need Griffey to get out of his funk, 1 for his last 18. Curious to see if Petey Mack continues the recent trend of giving Junior the day off when a day game follows a night game. Junior, in a bit of a slump, I'm sure wants to play today. I meant to, but I totally forgot. It was a very good hustle play especially w/ 2 outs to get himself in scoring position. He also easily scored form 1st earlier on the bases loaded double by Kep. Do you think he might be showing a little more hustle and leadership now that Narron is gone? Or do you think it's always been there and is just now being noticed?
