I just can't make the leap that beating Wake indicates that UL would've beat Michigan, Oklahoma, or Boise. UL only beat Boise by 4 two years ago. A lot of the same guys are still around, I say that game is a toss up. I'll give you Notre Dame their secondary couldn't stop Trinity, but as far as giving Florida fits, Ohio State couldn't, why would UL.

Florida squeaked by in the major leagues of college football. They stepped out of conference for the NC game. End of squeaking...

IT's really all about defense...and Florida and LSU had the best...after that it was quite average....Michigan's defense got compltely exploited by USC, as did OU's and BSU's defenses...people can knock Louisville all they want...but one thing is sure...that offense was sick, and they scored on everyone.....

It would be nice to have a team other than the one in Columbus making all the noise in our extended area. June 26, 200719 yr Seems like I've read previously in this thread that a UK win vs. UL will have little to no impact since it won't be on TV. Doesn't it work both ways? I never said that, but I can qaulify the statement in that, not many people watched the Orange Bowl, but it was still a BCS win...and it went noticed...A loss to UK would hurt Louisville immensely, but with Notre Dame -vs- Michigan, Fresno State at Oregon...Florida -vs- UT....it won't have near the exposure.
