When I think about UL, I always compare them to the way Johnson Central gets treated. People always talk about how they are a team you have to watch out for, but the only ones talking about them winning it all is their own fans. In time I hope it changes on here.

Well they were one bad half away from the biggest stage in non professional football.....without one of the Derby City Duo...they are legit RIGHT NOW.

Opps that one week in January can make football math pretty difficult. Guess I rounded down to the 1990-91 season and up since thinking the Orange bowl was played Jan 2007.

Winning the Liberty Bowl and beating Wake Forest in the lowest rated BCS game TV wise does not one make a national power.

They are on the cusp.

What about Boise winning the Fiesta? I think their win was far more impressive.

So because a ton of people didn't watch it, it made it lesser.....

 

If they went to the Fiesta they would've beat either team...The Sugar...would've beat Notre Dame...the Rose would've beat UM..maybe USC...the Championship...they would've given either fits...that on bad half kept them from showing just how great they were...and this year's edition is even better.

U of L beat one of the best defenses in the country....with a QB with a seperated shoulder...Boise won, because they let OK back in...and OK forgot to play prevent...(see Bob Redman)

Your 1st word is IF. When UL plays and beats these teams pound on your chest all you want. You would be entitled to that, and honestly I hope it happens. It would be nice to have a team other than the one in Columbus making all the noise in our extended area. I'll be rooting for the Cards if they find themselves in one of those games Good Luck.
