I detest everything Paris Hilton stands for. I hate the example she sets for young girls and I find it deplorable that she would receive special treatment because of her wealth and status.

 

Still, I just can't take any joy in seeing another human suffer and cry as she is. I certainly hope the lesson sinks in for her and she comes out a better person.

You know, there was something that made me feel sorry for her today when I saw her handcuffed and crying in the cruiser. I think reality has set in, and she's going to have trouble handling it. Maybe this is the reality check that will change her life. Maybe not. We'll see.

I'm just stunned that she didn't have a driver/bodyguard. Especially with all the paparazzi following her 24-7... and a suspended license... and a history of alchohol abuse.

She has grown up with a little silver spoon in her mouth and has never heard the word "no". I guess she is in for a long time out.

Good I hope she serves every single last day. How about the media actually making a difference for once. The media put her back in jail, well so did the American people.

I fell asleep this afternoon with the news on. Awoke to find this debacle on television. My favorite part was when the Paris convoy taking her to the jail went by an ACTUAL circus in town and setup. How fitting.

Thats just something that comes along with the territory.I'm sure if you asked Paris if she would trade her money and fame for a little privacy you would get a no way before you even finished your setence. If you dont like the media attention, quit drawing attention to yourself. Wear panties under your dress, dont wear dresses that your chest is constantly falling out of, don't let someone film you while you are doing adult acts, don't let someone film you while you snort coke off a guys chest (the list could go on and on about this waste of human air) and last but certainly not least, if you don't want that type of media attention don't break the law. There are plenty of wealthy people in this world that none of us have ever heard of and thats because they choose to live their life that way. Paris loves having her picture taken. When you are a celeb you don't get to choose when and where you want to be photographed, thats just the way it works. I dont know if this is a bad thing or not but when I saw the pic of Paris in the car crying it made my day 10 times better. She deserves every bit and more of what she is getting. I would love to see a survivor type show where Paris and Lindsay Lohan and all the others like them were sent out to an Island. Last one breathing gets to come home to LA.

I agree... but aren't jails set up to deal with this? I doubt she is the first addict ever taken into custody.

I agree. Even more closely related to this case, I feel sorry for all of the families that have lost loved ones due to drunk drivers. This is why she lost her liscence to begin with. :fight:
