New Job, New Town, New State!

Featured Replies

To all my BGP friends I just wanted to let you know a little about something new that has happened. After 17 years at my current job I've decided to take on a new adventure in my life. I will be working at a new place. It's home office is just outside of Orlando, FL. I'll attach a link at the bottom. I'll be traveling to the islands in the south. The web site has a lot of them where I'll be flying to twice a month and working in the clinics that are there. I'll be on here every weekend and I want all of you to keep me posted. I'll still be flying back home several times to watch some college football games as you know. It's going to be a BIG BIG change for me but I'm looking forward to meeting new people and seeing some really cool (or warm) places. Say a little pray for me each night as I start my new adventure............LTW.

Good luck. I hope your enjoy your new home and new job. They do like their football in Florida.

I think what you'll be doing is fantastic, and wish you all the best with your new adventure! Sounds like you'll be sailing The Black Pearl around the Carribbean. ;)

Btw, I know how important your work is to your patients because, for a -- thankfully brief -- time, I was one.

Congratulations. Hope it works out for you. My son lives east near 436 in Apopka.

Good luck with the new job.

Having lived in Jacksonville, FL off and on since 1990, whenever I leave Florida I always vow to never go back. That darn state just keeps sucking me back in. Can't beat the weather year round, even if you have to deal with hurricanes, bugs the size of cars, humidity.

Good luck.

I'm getting ready to start a new job as well and move to Bardstown for it, so I understand the excitement/reservations of such a move.

Congrats on the opportunity bud, hope everything goes well for you with your new endevors.

So what time was OUR plane leaving?? And who is going to help me keep the refs straight at the games??? Good luck old buddy. And tell Matt we are proud of him.. Stay in touch..:thumb: :thumb:

I am so honored that I got to meet both you and Cammando and spend time talking football with both of you. LTW - thank you for all your wonderful comments on my nephews who played against "your" team twice. It was quite a hoot to have two men sitting next to me with SW jackets on around all the Rebel fans:D Hopefully, the last time we talked won't actually be the last. Good luck with your new job and I wish safe travels for you and that God sits next to you on each trip.

Getting paid to travel around to Antigua, Antilles, etc. That's like getting paid to play football. Awesome. Congrats and good luck.

Thanks guys, for all your support!! I'm a little nervous and excited all in one. My kids grew up here and now their grown and off. I can't decribe the emotions that I'll have when I'm packed and leaving but I do know I'll still keep in contact through this wonderful site. So it's not like I'm leaving at all. Commando, you know I'll miss helping you keep the ref's in line even if that means telling them how to do their job while being escorted out!! (ha ha). I'll tell Matt that you and all of SW is on his fan base. It was some of the best times being at those games with a lot of my friends. I hope all is well with your kids too. I'll keep in touch. RebelK it was just as grand to meet you and to sit oppsite of one another and then meet on the field. I'll be back for all my kids college games and if you can make one it'll be my treat. Thank you all for the best wishes and I'll try and figure out how to post some pic's of some of the places and if I can't I'll get my buddy RTS to help. I start my new job May 1st. so I'll be around quite a bit till then...............LTW.

LTW the best to you in your new adventure, what a opportunity. Look forward to seeing the pictures you post.:thumb:

LTW, I don't know what to say. I'm happy for you and this new chapter in your life, but I'm sad to see you leave Kentucky. I know all of your friends from SW will miss you, just know your friends from NKY will miss every bit as much, especially me. You're a great guy and I'm glad I met you and I really enjoyed watching some high school football games with you. I hope I can make it to some of your son's games in the near future as it would be great to sit and talk with you again and watch Matt play. All my best to you and I hope your job is always rewarding to you. Good luck buddy! :thumb:

Good luck.:thumb: I wish you the best.
