Worst team in baseball resides in Cincy. I haven't pulled it up or tried to find out, but does anyone know what is the worst record/team in baseball history? I believe that it might be one of the early Mets teams, don't know.

Anyway, is there a possibility that this years train wreck called the Reds could win that distinction of the worst team in the history of baseball? :D Probably not , but this team is Bad and there is no outlook of it getting better anytime soon.

The Reds won't finish as the worst in history. Folks automatically think of the 1962 Mets (although they won the WS only a few years later, so hope springs eternal); but there were a couple of 20th-century squads that finished with poorer records.

I'd be amazed if we didn't see some big changes made with the management of this team sometime after the All-Star Break.

Look at the players they traded and the ones they should have traded and now you know why they're 19 under. Jr. is better and almost at 600 homeruns and so far hasn't been injured so he doing better.

I would have liked to see Narron fired a month ago!

I agree with you here.:thumb:

I really don't think its going to happen. What can he do now that would get him fired that he already hasn't done? As of now this franchise is the model of incompetency and as long as current management is in place will continue to be so.

Homer threw less than 50% strikes? Did he throw more than just a fastball or did they sit on it?

By the way, the old 1st and 3rd double steal at the Major League level is nothing short of a kick in the pills and a big...'YOU SUCK!'

In the 2nd inning, his curveball didn't fool anyone.

Imagine that, a lefty pitching and he makes the Reds look like a blind T-Ball team in the first inning.
