Track The Reds...

It is just plain silly to run Lohse out there anymore.

He is on pace to lose 20+ games this year.

It is apparant that he doesn't have the mental makeup to be a consistent starter and is showing some of the same issues he had in Minnesota.

Put his butt in the pen and bring up a youngster from Triple A and ride him out.

14 1/2 games out. It isn't going to change...might as well see what type moxy some of these youngsters have...Lohse sure doesn't have it.

I've wanted to be a Lohse fan from the day we got him. The guy has it figured out as long as he doesn't get in trouble early in an inning.

Watching him fail over and over the minute he gets in to trouble says a lot.

Move him to the pen or DFA him over letting him start and hoping you get something in return at the deadline???

I'm with ya GT. I've been a fan of Lohse since he was with the Twinkies but something needs to be done. Watching him pitch tonight was brutal.

The M's fans are pretty low on Richie Sexson, although he had a great game tonight. They share many of the same thoughts on Sexson that some (a lot) of Red's fans feel about Adam Dunn. Fortunately for us, I think Dunn has a much greater upside.

From the looks of it this was a good game to miss....

Griffey went deep in his first at bat...I'm glad he got to hit one in Seattle!!!

JR with ANOTHER bomb, and this one was a shot!!! 3-3 with 2 HR's, Congrats kid!!!

p.s. he also passed Marky Mark with that dinger!

I swear, this team cannot win a close game.....

On 1530 today they said the White Sox and the Reds were the most disappointing teams in baseball this year.

It was awesome to see Griff take two deep. Bronson pitched very well too, which is nice.

Its beginning. Only 5 posts during the game. I wasn't one as there is tennis and golf to be played:D

Griffey asked Narron if he could play in the field, so that's why he was there and the lineup was changed. Although Jerry told us it was that he had a couple of lineups made up and wanted to get Javier Valentin some at-bats. Not sure why he wouldn't come out and say Griffey wanted to play the field, but, well, there's an odd dynamic between those two.

Very happy to see Griff going yard twice today. The fans of Seattle deserved that type of performance along with a diving catch in RF. That 2nd HR was a blast.

I didn't post during the game cause I was busy playing Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst, a good game I might add.

ANYHOO, this team will likely finish the season no better than 70-92 and to think how many close games they have given away.

Things were rolling along until Arroyo served up a meatball to Broussard that tied the game.

Can't leave anything over the plate with first base open, with a righty on deck who you have made look bad the entire game.

Mental mistake that cost them.

Then the M's put pressure on the Reds defense...base hit to left by Bettancourt, which Dunn took his sweet time getting to which led to a double.

Then a sac bunt in which Arroyo made a nice play on, but the slide was tremendous, and then a well-timed perfectly executed squeeze play.

Ballgame.

Wonder what the front office posturing is going to be this week after their series with the Phillies.

They can not simply say they are still optimisitic...that is not going to fly.
