Track The Reds...

Featured Replies

As a fan of the book Moneyball, I was curious to see how that first draft in the book turned out. Not bad at all:

MLB players: Nick Swisher, Mark Teahan, Joe Blanton, Jared Burton, and some pitcher named Papelbon.

For comparison, the Reds #1 pick pitched 5.2 innings in the minors. When Votto comes up , he will be the first player from the draft to play in the Show.

Its beginning. Only 5 posts during the game. I wasn't one as there is tennis and golf to be played:D

Late Saturday night game. It happens. :D

Sunday afternoon game. You probably should have got a little less sun exposure:D

Does it just seem uncanny how the Reds continue to win just one game a series. They refuse to get swept yet they can't win a series. Can they maintain this the rest of the season?

Don't forget they always manage to blow game 3 late...

This team is like the kid who stays home from school because he is "sick" yet 2 hours later he is at the mall hanging out with friends. BUT he will make sure and go to school JUST ENOUGH to maintain that D average.

Do you think Krivsky subscribed to our curriclum??

If he didn't the players certainly did, makes you wonder how some of the younger guys would do if they really got a taste of success and winning.

Homer gets win # 3 tonight and I finally get to watch a game again.

So you're predicting tonight is the one? For some reason I don't feel that good about it. When they win 1 a series it is hard to pick that one. I do get a feeling that they will just keep rolling along at a .380 clip. I just hope the fans make them pay dearly at the gate. The clueless may get it when the gate shrivels.

Tonight's line-up:

Hatteberg 1b

Phillips 2b

Griffey rf

Dunn lf

Encarnacion 3b

Hamilton cf

Gonzalez ss

Ross c

Bailey p

No, they will just pick a series and give half off seats and dollar hot dogs. That made people happy for a couple days.

The Reds are facing a guy making just his 3rd major league start. He has given up 6 runs in 12 innings pitched. If they are going to take their one game this series, tonight might be the best bet. HOWEVER, we have seen the tendency for rookies to throw the best game of their career when they face the Reds.
