Its hard to fault Sosa after that effort, but that last shot was pure freshman. Great season Cards, good luck next season.

Does T-Williams remind anyone of R. Rhodes with the talent he has, but with his questionable shot selection and erractic play at times?

If Sosa makes the shot, (and he really had a pretty good look) then the Aggies really don't have anytime to get a good shot off.

THAT'S the point. If he does, great. If he doesn't, you're hosed; and you've cut your own throat....

I think the optimum timing in this situation is to shoot the ball with enough time to get an offensive stick back. That would be with a couple of seconds left.

Agreed, but I still didn't have a problem with it. Maybe Pitino had flashbacks to 92, and just didnt' want to have to go thru that again.

Nice effort today by both teams. UL fans have to be happy about next years outlook.

This is a heartbreaker...

Nice effort by both teams. They both seemed to leave everythig out there and were totally gassed at the end. Sosa was unbelievable even with the bad last minute, Law IV is simply cold blooded. The refs I thought were bad, not favoring either team or anything, it just seemed like these were two really evenly matched teams and all the fouls took away from the flow of the game.

I like A&M, all losses by less than 5, they have a great leader in LawIV, I take the Aggies by 3.

Excellent call

Pretty darn close. Nice job.

Very good game, congratulations on a fine season, the Cards will be tough to beat next season.:thumb:

Really disappointed in the officiating today. Refs called way too many fouls in this game, both ways, and it really affected how it was played. Sosa played great, but if AM would have just played off of him when he drove in he wouldn't have had near the game that he did. He was bailed out by fouls several times when he had no chance to make a play.

Kind of ridiculous that UL's 3rd string center had 4 fouls at the end of the game, the refs should have let the big guys play a lot more. AM's last 10 points came from the FT line, which says a lot about how it was officiated. Excellent game to watch if you're a fan, but I hated to see the Ville go down. One things for sure though, they're are gonna be scary good next year if everyone sticks around.
