I'd say you better hope they get in.

:thumb: Nice, end of arguement...

Please stop using the AP and Coaches Top 25 as a talking point. It's not being used behind the closed committee doors so those rankings are worthless in this discussion. 13 wins against the RPI Top 100 has them in on that alone...

:thumb: Thanks for making that clear to ALL TELL, he is going by the AP and Coaches...

You guys are in... now the seed you get? Id say your looking at 9 or 10.

what a terrible thread...are you being serious All Tell? You're only starting this thread to rub in UK's poor play, not a general interest. If it wasn't Kentucky, you'd say team A with similar schedule, wins losses ( one over Louisville i think?:sssh: ) etc, you'd say they deserve the bid. But it's UK, so you're throwing a hissy. UK will be in, get over it, don't be such a baby.

It seems to me that the hissy fits are being thrown by Kentucky fans who can't understand why someone would have the audacity to question the almighty Cats.

You Cat fans sure seem to have thin skin.

ALL TELL you sure seem to have a HUGE grudge against the Cats...

Nope. Just don't engage in hero worship of them either.

There better then UL in almost EVERY catagory. Facts are facts, get over it...

Nope. Just don't engage in hero worship of them either.

Hatred of them seems like it to me.

Why?

Because someone has the audacity to question the almighty Wildcats NCAA credentials?

I am fed up with Ky and Tubby, but that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. If anyone else in the SEC had 21 wins the question would not even be brought up. I guess your post speaks volumes for the Ky tradition in that they can win 21 games and people think they should not be in the tourney. What a laugh.

Florida played SEVEN teams with a RPI over 200 while UK played 1. It's about the whole body of work and not just the flashy stats like top 25 and 50 wins the committee uses...

Even still, I can't see that Kentucky done anything this year that would constitute them having that high of an RPI ranking. I'm just not seeing it.

He just told you.

What's that? They beat 13 teams in the top RPI 100. That works for me then.

Michigan is 21-11 (same record as KY), 53 in RPI, not sure about strength of schedule. 4 losses to the #1 team (3 to Ohio State and 1 to UCLA who was #1 at the time they played Michigan, I believe).

Signature wins were Michigan State, Indiana and Davidson.

But the analysts say that they are out of the tournament.

17 games versus teams with a 100+ RPI. UK had 8. Plus Michigan has what you would clasify as a bad loss and that is a loss to a 100+ RPI team.
