All I found was a few box scores from this season. 2 from February. He didn't crack 20 in those 3 games.

 

Basing a kids worth by his box scores is rediculous. Wayne Turner averaged 40 pts a game in HS, didn't help him in college as far as I could tell. As far as 6'7" being too small, since when?

I maintain that after AAU summer ball he was not rated in the top 150 in his class. I hope he's good. I hope he's great. I'm basing my thoughts on Tubby's recent recruiting trends. Maybe he'll end up in the top 150, hopefully he'll end up in the top 50.

My question is, what is the rush? He or 20 others like him will be available this time next year. I just don't understand why you would use a scholarship on a kid who isn't on anyone elses radar, outside of X, this early. Unless you think this is the best your gonna get.

Patterson wasn't really on anyones radar until his success at last summers camps. He was considered a good play last year but hardly a 5 star elite player.
