IAmAFan
Eric Hicks was a 3 star and he stunk... His teams went far...... If Ky's goal is the sweet 16 I'm fine with it.
bugatti
Williams and Porter were early..... this is terrible. If at this time next year he is still a * * * recruit we may have a problem.
STRIKE3
22 pounds??? He needs to hit the gym. He's around 225. 6'7" is undersized to play the 4. If you're very talented then so be it. Rivals and other places don't have him ranked. Not top 150, not top 100, not top anything. Before this year he wasn't even being considered mid-major and now KY signs him. With OTS's RECRUITING HISTORY.............. How good can he be?.... I left out the 5, sorry. You used the word joke and I was looking for clarification. gametime
I'm sure you're aware of this but the last time Rivals updated the JR class was August...
IAmAFan
I would trade Tubby Smith for Brandon Wright straight up. If Tubby wasn't at UK Brandon Wright most likely would be. He watched Tubby handcuff Rondo (as did every other kid who wants to run up and down the court) and decided against KY's boring offense. If 3 star is the best KY can do we need to improve the staff. TWOONE
He also had an offer from MSU, so i guess Tom Izzo can't recruit either. He averages 25 and 13 a game. Has some 3 pt range, and is very athletic. Thats what i have discovered in the past 10 minutes. Sounds like a monster SF.

IAmAFan
Sorry if I am pessimistic. I've spent the last few KY basketball seasons forcing myself to be optomistic and it's pointless.
gametime
I am. Just a guess, but he'll be in the SR class Top 150 when it's released...

Just a guess, but he'll come to KY and underachieve, transfer, or be as good as a freshman as he's ever going to get.

Ok seems as if now you are conceding the fact that he is good enough right?
SouthernSportsFan
This is why Kentucky basketball is where it is today. Unless he turns out to be a Chuck Hayes, it's worthless.. Does anyone know what Chuck was rated coming out of high school?
