Currently, over the past season and a half, no, the results have not been good on the court. The newest onlaught against Coach Smith started about 14 months ago. The seasons prior to UK was winning games so not many were complaining.

Now that he's losing everythings under a microscope. However, who wants to lose? Who things Tubby can turn KY back into a National Championship contender because I certainly don't?

February 20, 200719 yr Prince won a championship, Fitch and Daniels were on a team their SENIOR year that, IMO, was the best team in the nation. So much for peaking freshman year. I don't get what your point is. So the kid has 3 stars. Stuff like that doesn't mean didly squat. The Bengals were picked to win the Super Bowl and where did they end up? Yeah, injuries and off-field troubles didn't help, but off field issues weren't missing tackles and what not. The kid isn't coming to UK to be a one man team and carry the whole team to the national championship, he is coming to become a better player and HELP the team so what do you want from him? And you can't blame all of it on Tubby and his staff. If a kid doesn't want to come then he doesn't want to come that's his choice. Your not going to get every 5 star player out there. Not every 5 star, but 1 every year isn't too much to ask. This is KY Basketball if you have forgotton and to me that means elite. I understand there will be down years and down classes, but with Tubby there has been too many with very little effort to change things. The Bengals weren't the Vegas favorite(it's also irrelevant). Fitch was very good as a freshman. A spark plug off the bench. Daniels improved because he played close to the basket. How about Woo? Has he improved much? Shag? Morris and Crawford have went from infants to toddlers. Bradley still plays like it's concrete with no net. Rondo never got better, Wayne Turner never got better, Prince got ten times better....... when he went to the NBA. How about Jason Parker? Carruth? Stone? Did those guys get better under coach Smith? In 3 years do you think Jasper will be a better shooter? I don't. WT and RR never learned to shoot at KY. Hayes was a beast as a freshman, and a beast as a senior. Bogans was an inconsistent shooter as a freshman and as a senior. Huggins turns athletes into players, Pitino does the same, Tubby hasn't done it with anyone....... 10 year tenure......NOBODY. Daniels is the only one who "got better" and I maintain that it had more to do with the hi-lo he played with Hayes that kept him near the basket than it did actual improvement.

February 20, 200719 yr In a nutshell, Tubby can be swung at like he is a pinata for the recruitment and lack of development (if there was ever anything to develop) of the senior class. UK is currently relying on 3 juniors and 3 Freshman for their production, I do not care how you slice it, that is not good (referring to Crawford, Morris, Bradley, Meeks, Jasper, and Stevenson). The other 3 players that see minutes, which are all seniors (Woo, Perry, Thomas) are not good enough and they should be providing solid production. I do not blame them because they are doing all they can, but they are just not that good.

Really....Crawfords FG and 3pt % have both gone up EVERY year he has been here so far. Thats just with 2 minutes of research.
