I obviously wished for this outcome, but didn't expect it. Colonels, we were due for a win. It's been awhile. You do know that except for tonight, we root for you. Let's hope we both bring home a

Ballgame.

Congrats to BW. Their offense was better than CCH's defense.

Great job on the play by play CWB!

Congrats to Beechwood. I had a feeling they might win tonight with their playmakers. CCH had no answers on defense. Beechwood simply did what they wanted to on offense. And once they got out to the early lead of 14-0, it was pretty much ballgame. CCH tried to make it exciting and got very lucky on the last TD.

Yes Sir! BOOM

Well played Tigers, congratulations.

Heads up Colonels, and keep grinding.

Never!

So glad to be wrong about the outcome. Really thought BW would score on big quick plays and CovCath would pound and pound long time consuming drives for their scores. Just the inverse played out. BW's line opened holes for the scatback Pabst and gave Queen enough time for the short passing game. Total team victory with many contributors in all facets. Sure hope someone posts the game stats as I suspect time of possession will be very lopsided.

This was an all-time classic. What a win from the Tigers! So proud of those young men who gave it everything they had for the Paw tonight.

Keep your head up Colonels, this is still a very strong CCH team, that Courtney 4th down magician play was unbelievable!

A new record set tonight by Covington Catholic:

The fastest a scoreboard has ever been turned off at the end of the game.

They did their best to make sure of no pictures of that scoreboard for Tigers fans.

It was very much a role reversal of what we see in the Beechwood Cov Cath game. Beechwood ran the ball and controlled the clock. Cov Cath made big plays to keep it close. It is usually the other way around.

Dang, talk about petty!

Nathan Pabst is the most underrated player in Kentucky. 5 touchdowns and physical downhill running fighting for every yard. Offensive line was fantastic all night.

When do we start the Pabst Mr. Football campaign? He's on Beechwood single season TD record watch.
