- Congrats to Emmett Queen, Coach Rash and the rest of Beechwood team and fans.

- I thought the BW offensive staff did a great job picking at a scab in the run game. Anything towards Jonny Lind did not go well, but they gashed running away from him. Tough combo dealing with that Queen being pretty efficient underneath throwing the ball.

- For as fast as Tyler Fryman and Nathan Pabst are, I love the way they finish runs. Sticking their shoulder through the defenders chest and pumping their legs generates extra yards per carry. Fryman in the wildcat in short yardage is a cheat code.

- I thought Dylan Courtney was exceptional and deserved better from his receivers. He had some absolute lasers today and his creation ability was outstanding.

- It was talked about in other threads, but I felt the lack of depth for Cov Cath started to show when a few starters went out.

Nathan Pabst is the most underrated player in Kentucky. 5 touchdowns and physical downhill running fighting for every yard. Offensive line was fantastic all night.

When do we start the Pabst Mr. Football campaign? He's on Beechwood single season TD record watch.

Tonight was his Campaign Trail starter. The kid plays so hard for his size and does everything for this Tiger team.

Much deserved win. Congrats, Tigers. I don't see anyone in your class beating you. You have too many studs all over the place. Best of luck the rest of the way!

Pabst is a beast runs hard! Nice win!

Well said!

IMO that was Emmett Queen's best game ever. Very impressive tonight!

Nathan Pabst is just an unbelievable football player. He was the most impressive player on the field tonight. So many plays where CCH had the play defended very well and Pabst made multiple players miss tackles.

My guess is Pabst with player of the game this week and his shiftiness overcomes some smaller holes to run through than usual and the run success is enough to overcome the Colonels this year.

I don't get many of these close to accurate , might as well brag on this one though right ? lol.

Great game by Beechwood tonight. I've gotta imagine Pabst averaged over 7 yards per touch. Fryman's catch to set up Beechwood's final touchdown was an all-time highlight reel catch for the Tigers. Beechwood's touchdown drive to start the game put the Colonels standing straight up, and then when Cov Cath's offense responded with a three-and-out with their first series, Beechwood pushed the Colonels back onto their heels and kept them there for the rest of the game. There were some key dropped passes by Cov Cath receivers that just cannot happen in a big game, especially when you're facing a team that has the playmakers Beechwood has.

It was distinct tonight hearing how loud Beechwood's stands were for all 48 minutes and how quiet Covington Catholic's stands were.

Really disappointed seeing Mac Cogswell and Spencer Clukey both come away from this one with injuries. That's almost 400 yards of passing offense in the first 4 games that we could really do to have on the field with Highlands two weeks away. I definitely hope they get healthy.

I think the Cov Cath fans were a bit stunned with how the game started and that put them on their heels all night. It's tough when you are playing from behind the whole game. Beechwood's fans really picked it up in the 4th quarter.

Truth.

Does anyone have video of the Fryman catch from the game winning drive, late in the fourth quarter?

Congratulations to Beechwood, I'm happy for them. Awesome win!

Didn't see it on any of the local sports shows.

Channel 12 did have the unbelievable shovel toss by Courtney while being sacked on 4th down that Kirtley caught and took to the house to tie the game in the 4th quarter.

Channel 5 showed a nice amount of Coach Rash's pregame speech. Good stuff.

FOX 19 has video of the Fryman diving catch. It is a beauty of a catch.
