UT 27-4 on points off turnovers.

Paint scoring 46-30, advantage UT.

Lofton had a nice game, but the lack of UK getting any stops against a pair of undersized post players led to their doom.

 

Add this game to UCLA, Georgia, and Vandy, where the game is in the balance in the last two minutes and UK choked it away again.

Twist it how you want...UK fans go nuts after a loss...There was almost 3 pages BEFORE I ever posted, and that was only 20 or 30 minutes after the game...

Perimeter defense was absolutely terrible, our rotation were terrible and the weak side guard didn't drop, and we were hestitating when the ball was entered into the paint. We didn't do a good job with pressure on the ball, our traps on the ball were terrible, and we can't take care of the ball

We don't ever trap the ball. And the reason we lost was the defense down low.

Well I have been critical of Tubby in the past but it hit me today that I actually owe him a great deal of gratitude.

 

There was a time in my life where everything stopped when UK played. I would schedule everything around the next UK game. I can remember being a nervous wreck during tournament time. A UK loss would cause me to sleep poorly. Not anymore.

 

I have my life back. Well I guess I now have a life. I am no longer a prisioner to UK basketball because like alot of other people I could care less. I have discovered other things in life like American Idol. 10 years ago I would have cheated myself out of season a pop culture phenominom but not now. Things have changed and for the longest time I thought it was for the worse but now I have seen the light.

 

If Mitch Barnhardt is reading please do me a favor and keep Tubby Smith at any cost. His presence has saved me thousand of dollars in tickets, parking, concessions, and UK basketball items.

 

So speaking on behalf of thousands of UK fans and fans all across the SEC, thank you Orlando Tubby Smith. Thank you for removing an unhealthy passion from our lives and for making it possible for every team in the SEC to enjoy the thrill of victory.

Look at my post total. I post often about everything. Me being in this thread as often as I have should be no shock. I'm iced in. I finished all my work for the next two days this afternoon. I watched the game. I watch every game. Not sure why you have wasted so many posts doing the same thing you seem to be picking at me for. We had a lot of talk after Florida about the BGP reaction to a loss. Looking back it still reads a lot like the old days. We came in and made light of the complaining crowd. And for the most part they stayed away. One day you guys will realize we're here to help... :fire:
