Why did George Felton walk away? Why did by gawd the second coming Billy Donovan walk away even after he sent VCU's savior Anthony Grant (or is it Jason Capel, since he instilled the work ethic for the Rams) in the spring to evaluate? What about Huggins? What about the assassin Thad Matta walk away?

Too bad some cannot be honest about the state of the program. I don't care what they have to say. What is your opinion about that. Dodge the facts all you want but it is what it is.

I dont care if no coach in America wanted Lofton he DESERVED to wear the Blue and White. He earned that right. OTS blew it plain and simple. The program has declined plain and simple. BTW I would make Donovan an offer he could not refuse. Hogwash. Hindsight is 20/20. Lofton did nothing in his high school career that made him "deserve" to play for UK, few do. It would have been an honor for him to play for UK and you and I both know it. I don't know how many times it has to be said, but on paper, OTS had no reason to choose Lofton over Bradley. Looking back would he choose Lofton? Definitely. Take your Royals glasses off. I admire the loyalty but don't come on here saying that Lofton "deserved" to play for UK. That's just silly. Now for the game, since it's ridiculous that every UK thread turns into complete mayhem... Derrick Jasper is going to be a solid player and there's no denying that. However, he needs to get stronger. I believe three of his fouls tonight came on plays where he was muscled to the whole and he made a weak foul allowing a 3-point play. When you get muscled to the whole like that, you have to come down hard on the foul and prevent any sort of shot. For as great of an offensive threat that Morris is, he evens it out by being a defensive liability. He, nor any other player down low for UK tonight played defense (especially on the entrance passes). Finally, I still wish that I could instill the attitude of Ramel into players like Randolph and Crawford. They are tremendous talents but play with no heart whatsoever. These past two losses are very frustrating, but it is not time to panic. The CATS have too much talent to just call it quits on the season. However, Tubby bashers and Lofton lovers, go right ahead.

February 14, 200719 yr Wrong again LABS. Lofton waited and offer was pulled. It must have been when they signed Carrier and Stockton. You know UK very well LABS could you post those two guys career stats? Take them but pass on Lofton. Plus add in the dead weight foreign players brought in. What a joke. BTW back earlier this year you said you were done with OTS. The boys and I had you convinced. 18-7 record get you back in the Tub? Crawford, Bradley, Morris and Rondo got the four open scholarships that year. Looking at the other classes ahead of them at UK is not up for argument. People bellyache when OTS doesnt sign top ranked recruits and now they bellyache when he doesnt sign non-ranked recruits. Lofton waited and it got pulled because they evaluated him at ABCD and thought he wasn't what they were looking for at UL. They came back again with the opportunity to offer and didn't. Instead UL signed that left hander from Vegas who has already transferred.

I know one coach in the 10th who said all along UK should sign him. A pretty good darn coach you know LABS. Along with about 5-6 good coaches you know too LABS. You gonna say why you gave up on Tubby and came back?

Actually, I do not see how you can look at it LOGICALLY and come to a different conclusion. Some may not want to believe it to be true and now it is easy to say, "I told you so"... I am in no place to argue with them though; if it makes you feel better then go for it.
