The amount of people online worked up about this is wild to me. He’s was the third or fourth best player on a team that nobody enjoyed watching go 22-14. Do I trust Pope can find someone better? Not s

Can not imagine Dynes and Potter both on the roster.

I agree, not sure what Dynes can bring unless he really develops...a lot!

Gabe Dynes will be a perfect fit for UK!

Perfect fit? For his sake it would be awesome being a Ky boy on UK. From UK's perspective, I don't see it being that good of a fit at all. I feel like a smaller school would be the perfect fit for him.

Comparing the Horizon League to the SEC is like comparing apples to oranges.

He played in the Big Ten.

The video you posted was of the Horizon League.

Which once he joined a Big Ten team he only was able to average just 12 minutes a game. 3 points, 2 rebounds. Keep in mind it is not like he was playing on a good team either, and yet he still wasn't getting to see the floor. Maybe he could come in here and actually help, however, there is nothing really there to support that at the moment.

I have nothing against the kid, but I saw him play numerous times in high school and once at YSU, he just has no business taking up a spot on the UK bench.  I'm assuming he's reaching out to some local schools trying to get closer to home for his final year.  He might want to reach out to NKU or a similar type school where he could pad his resume and maybe get a spot on an overseas team in the future.

Cats fans probably aren’t going to have to worry about Dynes.

I haven't posted much on the off-season but I have to say, I am extremely disappointed in Kentucky's roster as of right now. Is anyone else with me that the current team (and the available players left to sign) outside of Stokes cannot even really compete with the top tier SEC teams? This was an off-season Pope really had to kill it and to me it has been more than underwhelming.

Really want to see Mark Pope do well, but I have a feeling Kentucky is looking for a new head coach after next season!

Hate to say it, But it looks like you have hit the nail on the head.

Senegalese 6'11" forward Ousmane N'Diaye signs with Kentucky per KSR.

That's what I was expecting  - 2 or 3 overseas players to fill the gaps.
