There is zero chance that was an overthrow. He stated it wrong. There was no one near Moreno when he caught it. Oweh at half court on the right and Aberdeen at half court on the left. Maybe it wasn't designed for Moreno, but that is where Chandler threw it.

Or maybe this guy is trying to make a joke about Chandler's pass after the horrible lob attempt to Oweh earlier.

Moreno stated on the tv interview the pass was suppose to go to Oweh.

I'm glad I just dipped in when it got down to four.  Avoided all that frustration....

  • As for the game, that was a rough watch for the most part. LSU is not very good.

Yes, I am sure that was the plan but Chandler was not trying to throw that ball to Oweh. He was trying to throw it to Moreno.

Only Chandler can answer that.

True. But Oweh was at half court along the right sideline. The pass was thrown to the left elbow/foul line. If Chandler was throwing to Oweh, he missed by about 40 feet.

Well, he did misdirect the lob earlier. LOL

Down 18-3 to start the game and come back to win on a great shot by Moreno, calm and cool on that one. Poor guy from LSU that let that go through his hands. Taking advantage of LSUs mistakes down the stretch, off of missed free throws that would've kept this to an overtime game for the Cats in a best case scenario. Take them when you can get them.

Wasn't pretty, but a W is always better than a L... I'll take it!

I think it was Coach Wooden who is quoted as saying, "I'd rather win ugly, than lose pretty!"

No doubt his pass definitely wasn’t going to Oweh. I honestly think his pass may have been intended for number 4 of UK who was breaking for the basket, but Moreno went up and got it instead. Either way great pass, great catch and shot.

These games sometimes do funny things to teams and majority of the time it’s in a positive direction, moving on to Knoxville.
