Anderson will be the best team Beechwood sees. Just a scrimmage but it could get ugly fast.

Tough scrimmage for sure and especially coming off their first scrimmage against Ryle.  It tells me one of two things, either Beechwood is going to be really good and the powers that be want to challenge the Tigers or the powers that be like the "Ohio Limelight" a little too much.

Any word when Fryman will announce what school he is going to?

Tigers are bringing in an upcoming Senior Center transfer from Cooper he was a starter last season. Scotty Lozier! He should bring a bunch of varsity experience with him and will help bolster the interior offensive line for Beechwood this upcoming season.

He is around 5'9 220 pounds he should help the offense out.

Is Coach Volker leaving Beechwood as a teacher?

Confirmed.  Does appear he will be staying on as the football coach.

Where is he going?

Just heard this too. Very strange move.

Yeah not so strange. Easy example ... Lickert was at Kings and one of the Cincinnati publics while he was the head coach at NCC.

Not saying there are 100's of coaches each year who teach at one school and coach at another ...but it happens enough to where I can't justify "strange"

Scotty will do more than help the offense out. He has started all varsity games since his sophomore year, been to a 5A championship and been taught by the best OL coach IMO in NKY in Bob Burnett (who ironically was at BW for several years). Don't be fooled by his size, he will lead the BW OL with his calls and leadership and bring some additional tenacity, especially going down to a lower class where he won't see the size of players that he was seeing in 5A. Huge pick up for BW and they are getting a proven winner to go along with an already good line.

It actually is very strange. It is one thing when a school hires a coach, but they teach elsewhere and never teach at that school or not even a teacher at all. Which you are correct that does happen. What is happening here is strange, since he was teaching in the building and coaching there. As you don’t see coaches then stop teaching at the school they are coaching at, so that part definitely is strange to see.
