I honestly didn’t think so either, until I watched some highlights of him destroying guards this year and last with his speed and also his power just bull rushing. 
 

He would need to put on a little weight to play inside. However, players like Aaron Donald was 280. Then Calijah Kancey a couple of years ago was drafted as a DT at 275 pounds in first round, and was very successful his first two seasons, before missing most of the year this year due to injury. So guys that weight have been successful and with his short arms that is why may project him to play inside at the NFL level. However, I definitely would still use him outside too at times because his first step and bend is great too!

Aaron Donald is the exception. Maybe Bain is that good? But that is asking a lot. I looked at the top DT's in the NFL and they range from 300-345 in weight. If I were Bain, I would resist playing inside and would be vocal about it when talking to NFL teams. If that costs 3-5 spots in the draft, so be it.

I think it is not so much the Ohio and Akron games it is more that after Indiana, Oregon and Ohio State the rest of the Big 10 was pretty weak especially the bottom 12 or so teams.

I am having a little fun here, there is nothing OSU should do and if anything drop a team like Texas because look what that loss did to Texas. 

Ryan Day was calling plays last night after Brian Heartline left for USF after the Big Ten Championship game. Not sure if that played any part in the outcome, but with the CFP in place now, the NCAA or the way coaching contracts are written going forward needs to hold coaching changes until after the CFP has completed. 

One has to wonder how the loss of the much of the coaching staff at Ole Miss with affect the game tonight.

The problem is that the portal and transfers have to happen before the 2nd semester starts. If you fire a coach in November or early December you can't wait until mid January to hire your next coach.

I disagree and I think that's the only logical solution. Move the transfer portal to February or March. Guys do not have to be on campus at their next program for spring practice. They can finish out the spring semester and then transfer. They can go ahead and decided where they are going in February or March. Programs will be just fine with them arriving in May.

It would be a nightmare for some players if they decided in February or March, but then had to stay at the school two or three more months. 

Imagine a player transferring to a team on next year's schedule or to a team's main rival. No way they should stay, both for their benefit and the benefit of the team they are leaving. 

A better plan would be to start the season at the beginning of August and wrap the championship up by New Year's Day. Open the portal the 2nd of January just like now.

That won't stop coaches from getting fired and hired in season, but will allow the transfer portal to be fair for all players and teams.
