I think Owen is closer to 6'1 than 6'4 but yeah....would have loved to see those guys on the field more together. I thought Clukey looked really good vs. Cathedral too when he played! Oh well, I think the team will be very good next year.

NCC would be foolish not to at least ask him the question if the job comes open. I have plenty of reasons to be completely confident that he won't take them up on the offer. And yes, Terry Brown is obviously the next man they call.

He would have been a huge help at DL tonight against the run.

For those who was at the game!  I saw Coach E get heated at one of the coaches at Boyle near the end of the game. Was something said to him that got him heated?

Maybe so, but if you were completely confident you would know NCC is coming open.  In addition, these last two years wore EE out and he is one heckuva coach and very little was the coaching side. 
 

CCH had a great season, unfortunately, 4A was stupid loaded.  
You got to be balanced a bit and be able to pass the ball especially when you are behind.

Boyle seems to need attitude adjustments from the coaches on down. Look how many unsportsmanlike penalties occured. Jawing at the CCH players. It trickles down from the coaches. Boyle is a heck of a program. Until they are dethroned, they are the king's of 4A no doubt.

Congrats to CC and especially Harney.  Got sick of seeing him almost exactly a year ago rush for 7 or 8 yards a carry and help stop Boyle from 5 in a row.  But he is a heck of a football player and had a great career.  CC is a storied program, is well coached and always plays hard.  This was a 1 score game with 11 min. left in the game.  I honestly thought the 4A title chase was a 3 horse race between CC, Highlands and Boyle.  Sure didn't think I'd see a school single game record set tonight.  Congrats to that young man.  The narrative all year for Boyle has been that they just don't have many of the offensive play makers that they have had in the most recent seasons, but their defense was as good as it's been in a while.  That may actually be true but JiDyn Smith-Hisel set a record tonight that may stand for a WHILE at Boyle County.

The Boyle Cheerleaders clean up after the game. The amount of alcohol thrown away in the away sideline would shock most people. Lots of class pounding alcohol at a HS football game.
