IMO…….CCH has got this, Highlands should have won against Boyle a while back, but coaching decisions hurt them, CCH coaching will be on point!

Bingo. Highlands went down to Danville in the regular season and the game was close. Cov Cath went into Caketown and should have won against the same Birds team that threw the last second TD. Cov Cath can win this game.

Teams think they can focus on Cash Money and they are all set but Gaiser will burn you too as shown last night and throughout the season.

My honest prediction: David will slay Goliath again in Rebel Country.

Sure hope this game is on Glicod.  Had to be impressed with CovCath’s home run gashes on the ground against Johnson Central.  But defending the run is Boyle’s strength allowing only 48 ypg.  When Boyle beat Highlands it was a young soph QB’s first start.  He now has 9 games under his belt and playing impressively.  Could be a must see classic game.

I agree with this. I could not believe Highlands lost that game considering how much better I thought they were on the line of scrimmage and at QB.

Cash had big runs against Cincinnati Elder, Highlands, last night vs JC, to name a few. I am not worried about Boyle's D. All excellent D's.

We have a two headed monster. We have to capitilize on big plays like last night. Those two quick TD runs to tie the game last night were absolute gut punches.

We need gut punches in this game. Throw off their psyche.

Will be interested to see game stats.  Those lightening quick gut punches were indeed that.  Was very impressed that JC did not panic and came back to work their methodical game afterwards.  Fantastic playoff football.

My Colonels run more of a double wildcat with that two-headed monster of Harney & Geiser.  And that will be the difference maker.  If you stop 1, the other absolutely guts you.  With the Colonels playing lights out on both sides of the line, and an early season schedule gauntlet to prepare them for this gauntlet to a state title, I got My Colonels 31-26 and advancing.  This will easily be the game of the night in the state of KY.  Go Colonels!!

That was Boyles sophomore quarterbacks first start their offense has gotten better every week and the defense as well. I like Boyle in a tight one and revenge after last years game.

Just saw an amazing game stat in CovCath vs Johnson Central.  JC controlled the ball 39 of the 48 game minutes in their losing efforts.  Probably says it all about CovCath quick strike offense vs Johnson Central’s 458 ground and pound control game.

Boyle’s defense is considerably better than last year. I’ve watched them a couple times in person. A lot of new faces with speed. This is the same defense that completely shut down St.X. Who could not establish any type of run game. I’m neutral but don’t see this being that close, Boyle will pull away 42-14 BC.

The reason we beat Highlands was these guys!  431 yards of offense as Boyle won the line of scrimmage and did so without Yocum and Goodman.  They do the same this Friday and I like our chances!  Who Ya With!

Agreed!

If I’m attending a game this weekend (I’m not), it’s this one.

Early weather forecast at game time is 62 and a slight chance of rain.

Bring on the rain! Ground and pound will be the protocol on O for my Colonels rain or shine but potential rain might hamper Boyle's air attack.
