I agree with this. I could not believe Highlands lost that game considering how much better I thought they were on the line of scrimmage and at QB.

Boyle did out gain Highlands 443 to 241.  Heck of a 1 point game.  CovCath, Highlands and Boyle are all right there together and will probably come down to the team that executes the best these last three weeks.

Like to see CovCath bring home the win and another match up with Highlands but I think Boyle wins at home in a tight one.

Boyle Co. 21-14.

Bingo. Highlands went down to Danville in the regular season and the game was close. Cov Cath went into Caketown and should have won against the same Birds team that threw the last second TD. Cov Cath can win this game.

Teams think they can focus on Cash Money and they are all set but Gaiser will burn you too as shown last night and throughout the season.

My honest prediction: David will slay Goliath again in Rebel Country.

Only if wins and losses are determined by yards gained. (LOL)  ☺️

Just saw an amazing game stat in CovCath vs Johnson Central.  JC controlled the ball 39 of the 48 game minutes in their losing efforts.  Probably says it all about CovCath quick strike offense vs Johnson Central’s 458 ground and pound control game.

Gaining more yards does not determine who wins the game, it's points that matter. Just sent a little reminder, in case you forgot. (LOL) ☺️ (Just messing with you) Hope you have a great game with no injuries on either team!

I absolutely agree with you.  Only stat that matters is the W and L column and regardless of how many on this forum and this thread think Highlands should have beat Boyle earlier in the year, they didn't.  So, they won the contest of both of those stats.  Most yards gained and most points scored.  LOL

I think this game will go exactly like last year.  Two teams very close in ability and whichever team makes the fewest mistakes will win.  I think it's an absolute coin toss.

Just an incredible game last season.

I'm looking forward to keeping up with this one as well.

Good luck to both teams!

I think one thing to remember also when I went to the Highlands game, Boyle was playing with a young QB his first start and they had multiple players out, with several turnovers. I think Boyle's first game with a complete roster this year was St. X and they have continued to improve. Highlands coaching in their defense did the players no favors in this game. That front four with Kelly and Yocum and two extremely talented fast ends Yancy and Crowe will make it hard on Cov. Catholics QB and running game...again I think Boyle pulls away in this one. I think Highlands match's up best with Boyle in 4A overall.

Agreed on this Boyle lost their starting QB in the middle of the Lexington Catholic game and offensively have gotten better and back up/ now starting QB seems much more comfortable since then.  Defensively they did have some D lineman out early in the season and got them back.  Boyle lost their starting safety after the Highlands game probably for the season.  The backup safety has been playing great for them since then.  I would say for the most part this is the healthiest Boyle has been all year.   The concern with Harney is that most of his big plays aren't from a designed play.  That is why he is so hard to stop for most teams and will be no different for Boyle.  Turnovers will be the difference in this game.  Boyle can't afford to have any.

Boyle will be looking to get back to the state title game after how last year ended. They'll take home this one 36-20
