Good luck Colonels!  make NKY proud!

Ok, I have watched 3 full Boyle Co. games over the past couple of days and earlier in the week I predicted CCH by 7. I feel good about that. 
 
Couple of factors:

1. Rain - I think this plays into CCH hands by neutralizing the passing game of Boyle. 

2. Rain(turnovers) - This is a wild card IMO and just one TO can flip this game. I feel every possession is “big” tonight(obviously), whether it’s a score or setting up better field position for future drives. 

3. Cash ??(X-Factor) - Harney seems to be at or near 100% and not banged up. This is a huge positive for the blue boys as Cash is one of the most explosive players in the state!

I got down on the Colonels last week when JC went up 14-0. They hung in there and taught me something. 

 

They can play with ANY of the remaining 4A schools in this year's playoffs. They are battle tested and it does not matter what field they play on.

This is what high school football playoffs are about. Two very good football teams who have proved they are extremely tought to beat year in year out. Great coaching staffs and players who will leave it all on the field tonight. Should be an exciting game. Colonels have talented QB that can keep the defense honest and Boyle has a really stingy defense. Boyle has big play capability and Catholic LB's were laying some licks at JC. Colonels score just enough 24-21.

I think the weather does favor Covington Catholic, but I’m still leaning towards the Rebels in this one. The Rebels will be extra motivated after what happened last year and Coach Haddix will have them firing on all cylinders.

It is real when a team doesn’t have the intensity to play. Hats off the Lexcath they had it that game.
