I mean….Woodford beat a team you don’t even have in consideration by about 40 inches a few weeks ago. Looks wide open to me.

I think Woodford is #1 - I do not think O deserves #1.   I could see Cooper ranked #2 as well as O.  Woodford's offense is stellar, so is Scott County's.  BG played CAL close and has Barber back - tremendous coaching staff and always athletes.  O will get a good game round 2 against Greenwood or Madisonville.   Atherton still remains an outlier.  There are a number of teams that can make it to the Semis including Apollo.  It's going to be tough sledding due to the parity for all teams iinvolved.  We are happy for the young men at O and the coaches on how the program is heading, but every game going forward is going to be a challenge no doubt.

Atherton only lost to Manual by 12 so I'm really interested in how they do in the playoffs. I think they will be a tough out because of their defense.

They will go 2 months from the Manual game to a game in the 3rd Round to be tested or even scored upon.

Save North Oldham Friday, which is a bit of an unknown game for me also.  To me, it is asking alot to just "rise to the occasion" in Week 3 of the playoffs when you haven't been tested since Week 4 of the regular season.  But I guess we will find out.

I think Atherton is the sneaky team everyone should keep an eye on. They definitely have the athletes to get it done.

Saying Owensboro can't run with Woodford is comical. Owensboro can run with literally anyone in KY. Owensboro has some issues... but the ability to run with people ain't one of them. 

This sounds a lot like the talk we heard about all the skill players Cooper was supposed to have last year. Then Cooper played BG and got both manhandled up front, and a clear difference in speed and athleticism smothered their skill players.

I have trouble giving Atherton too much credit based on one game they lost by 2 TD's. Their OWP is the worst in 5A.

Scott County has a good team this year. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were able to beat Cooper in round 2. Now, I'm not saying that it is going to happen, but I definitely don't think Cooper is a lock to get to round 3 and behind! 
5A playoffs will be fun to watch this season I know that!

That game will be a one possession game either way. As McKee says, block a punt and you’ll win the game. That’s what SC will be repeating to themselves all week after they deal with Conner.

Both Greenwood and MNH are getting run off the field by O even if they play an average game against them.

Owensboro's simply on a level they can't reach now.
