Bengals can win next week at Minnesota but after that it gets dicey without Joe. 

Shemar has a sprained ankle.

Can not remember us winning games like this very often.  Seems like we are always on the other end.

Didn’t Jake have 3 interceptions? He did a good job at the end but……

Cincinnati has played 2 of the 5 worst teams in the league, but the only score that matters is 2-0.

A lot of credit to Zac Taylor in this game. Not easy calling a game with a backup QB coming in and he did a very good job. Sometimes I think he does a better job calling plays and putting the QB in better positions when Burrow is not in, as he seems to protect them more. Also great decision going for it on that 4th down while pinned back. If you punt like the announcers were suggesting. You then first have to get a stop, but you also would be pinned back again anyways with no timeouts. Taylor was aggressive and was the right decision. Very good game by Taylor today. 

I would take Browning over Ridder without question. That’s a bit of the UC Kool Aid coming out in some.

I agree and I am not even sure Ridder is a pro level backup.

This.  And it would have been an 0-2 start in recent years. 

If Burrow is out for several weeks or put on IR will Cincy just bring Brett Rypien up off the practice squad to be QB2 or will they sign someone to come in and be Browning's backup?

I think the Jags are going to prove to be a lot better than a bottom 5 team this year. Liam Coen is going to and has already helped that offense a ton, and that defense has some really good pass rushers and a top two pick in Hunter who will only get better. So if think by the end of the year, this will look like a great win against a good team.
