Week 1 of injury, Rypien.  After that depends on Browning’s performance.  Are there candidates out there?

True, some bad decisions and also some really good ones. As he did lead them on 3 touchdowns, including the game winner. His record as a starter for the Bengals two years ago was 4 and 3. So he has shown that he can help the Bengals win games when he is in, and he did that again today. He is not Burrow, but as far as backups go, I think the Bengals have one of the best and he has shown that since he has been here.

I’m sure the Bengals will sign another QB to practice squad, as they will have to at least have another QB ready to backup Rypien in case Browning goes down.

Probably take at least 8 weeks to heal.

Joe Burrow is said to have suffered a "turf toe" injury during the Bengals' game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

This comes from reports from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Rapoport says that Burrow appears likely to need surgery for the injury. If so, Burrow is expected to miss at least 3 months of playing time.

This means that Burrow could be out for most, if not all of the team's season.

I have no idea that is something probably @futurecoachcould shed some light on.

When I saw turf toe, I knew it would be a long sit-out. 

Saw a tweet the other day they need to rename that injury because it sounds harmless, but it’s a bear to overcome.

I am just depressed now and am going to go on to bed and get ready for another full week of teaching middle school math. lol

This team has proven in the past they can win without Burrow (admittedly, not as much, but they can) but that was with much better defenses.  Al Golden and his defensive staff will really need to whip this group into shape, and fast.
