He’s fast enough to be a possession receiver like Edelman. As long as you catch the ball you’ll see the field.

Just read over the summer at football camps he worked out as a receiver. He could be the next Dicky Lyons at WR. I hope he does great!

You now have me questioning why I am wrong, but... I love that comparison.

Love the Lyons comp but a more recent comparison might be David Bouvier from LexCath. Cash is larger, 5’11”, 185 to 5’9’, 165 according to the last rostering that I could find. 
Grew to be a crowd favorite, sure handed receiver.

100%. I think if Cash went the combine tomorrow, he'd probably measure in at 5'9 or maybe 5'10. 

Really good athlete, just not elite and at that size is how you go PWO.

IMO if he was 6'1, he's definitely playing G5 or maybe lower end P4. If he was 6'4, he's a 4 star playing big time Big Ten or SEC.

I hadn't heard that Pete Nochta was recruiting him to Louisville. Those posting here that Cash may find success at WR seem to be spot on. That's where the Cardinals looked at him to contribute, and Nochta was impressed with his speed and athleticism. Looks as if he's enthusiastic to play anywhere needed.

It depends. If you are talking D1, then yes. With his current size, he'd have to run a low high 4.3 or low 4.4 40 to get their attention. But as far as D2/D3/NAIA goes, them coaches would have been all over him!

Cash is a worker, but there is a lot that is going to have to go in his favor for him to get PT. There is something to be said about being on the team for your dream school (if that’s the case for him) though. 

I agree. There has to be a whole lot of injuries that has to take place for him to play. Being a walk on today's college game is not the same as it was 5 years ago. He's not only competing against the current guys on roster, but he is also compositing against the transfer portal. With the DI schools having a 105-roster limit, his roster spot at UK can be gone at any moment. The portal opens up in January; Even though he's currently committed as of right now, UK can tell him we no longer have a spot for him and does not have to honor his commitment. 

Did he ever get any D-2 or FCS D-1 scholarship offers?  He was a great high school player and could break a big play at any time.  For him there are bigger guys with same 40 time that have film playing receiver.  It is harder than people think to step on a college campus and play WR when you didn't play it in high school and other guys have been playing WR in High School the last 4 years.  Hope he kills it there.
