KSR is reporting that DJ Hunter (UK QB commit) is considering transferring to a Kentucky high school. This is one to keep an eye on. 

He was born in Lexington and has family there.

Isn't this the kid rumored to be going to Boyle County?

Just read an article on him. He has moved around quite a bit. Has a lengthy injury history. Great talent that colleges obviously see a lot of potential in. From what I took from the article it looks like he will be playing somewhere near Lexington this year. Seems like his father will be very selective in his next high school. Boyle County would be a great fit. The rich get richer.

I'm going to guess he doesn't play in KY this year.

From his interview he sounds like he will play in Lexington. He wants to be close to his family. I say he ends up at Frederick Douglass.

Frederick Douglass is definitely a possibility.  Apparently, Ty Bryant is his cousin so there's that connection.

I have heard it is Boyle and is a done deal I guess we will see in a couple of weeks.

The kid is a top QB. Who better to play for than probably the best QB coach in the state, Justin Haddix? Boyle is loaded with great receivers to throw to. The kid said in the interview that he is a pass first then run QB. He does have great speed and run, escape ability. The kid and his parents have no loyalty or ties to FD. They are not going to be drawn to a situation just because a cousin went to school there. There is not a better place to be during his rehab than spending that time expanding his game under the watchful eye of coach Haddix. Time will tell but Boyle has been in the conversation for a reason.

As a top rated QB and If he was going to come to Lexington the best move would be Sayer to play and learn from Chad Pennington. But we all know if he comes it’ll be Douglas.
