Florida will take on Houston on Monday for the National Championship. It will be either Florida's 3rd or Houston's first. It should be a great game. Looking forward to seeing it.

After how Houston beat Duke and the way they play, I think they can cause Florida trouble. It’s going to come down to the guard play for both, which are very good. Florida has size advantage but I think it’s irrelevant with how Houston was able to play with Duke. It’s Sampson’s first championship game and it’s in San Antonio too. Give me the Cougars in a close one.

I think Florida will win, but I just went and checked my schools pool that I thought I had no chance to win but my bracket is in 6th place but the 5 ahead of me all picked Florida so I will be rooting along with @DragonFirewill be now rooting for Houston. lol

Picked the Gators because I’m a SEC guy.  But it is going to be hard for Clayton to go off against the Cougar’s D, and he has to excel for Florida to win.  Florida big guys better battle because Houston is going to punish them if they are soft.  This game has the makings for a classic.  Clayton hits a runner in 2nd OT to take the trophy back to Fla….78-76.

I think a better comparison to Florida is San Diego State with multiple guys close to 7 foot.  Houston lost to them in OT way back in November.  Florida is just built differently with 3-4 bigs that can give them great minutes.  You are correct in that the Houston guards will have to supply the points.  Will the Duke game cause them fatigue?  I think Cryer played all 40 minutes.  If Houston shoots 45% inside and outside then I think they can win.  If they are under 40% they could have trouble.  Florida's D allowed just a 30% average from beyond the arc.

Give me the Gators by 7-10.

I'm in the exact same boat. I need Houston to win and I will just to 1st place in my work bracket pool. 

Florida and the Cougars are tied a 8 at the under 16 media timeout.
