Lots and lots of fouls being called in the Zona/Duke game

Duke and Arkansas led at the half. Duke is up 6 on Arizona at 48-42. Arkansas is up 7 on Texas Tech at 38-31.

48-42 Duke leads Arizona at the half.

 

Flagg doing work with 18 for Duke while Love leads the way for Arizona with 14.

It’s 11:20 and 1/2 time of the late games. This is ridiculous They need to spread them out and have 1 late game.

I agree, the timing is bad, especially which such important and limited games.  

Arkansas really gonna go to the Elite Eight.

Man, Arkansas' defense in the last five minutes of regulation was atrocious. 

Tough loss for Wagner and his guys. 

Cal and Arkansas died with a timeout on a discombobulated last possession in OT.  Familiar anyone? 

But the important thing is how many NBA draft picks will come from Arkansas?

Both ways have been shown to work. Taking a timeout, and also allowing your team to get up the court quick and not let the other team get set up. Which Cal actually tried both ways tonight. At the end of regulation with the game tied, he did take a timeout to set up the last shot and it didn’t work. Then in OT he didn’t take the timeout and tried to let them get up the court quick and make a play. Both ways failed tonight. 
 

Which at the end of the day they were up 13 with 4 minutes or so to play. Then up 6 with under a minute to play and Fland grabs a defensive rebound but some reason decides to be lazy and just stands there with the ball down low allowing a tie up. Texas Tech had the arrow and made a three. Then Arkansas senior misses the front end of a one and one. Which allowed Tech a chance to tie it. Just complete failure by everyone on Arkansas.
