Yes on missing the 4/20 update.  At the time I did not realize that Easter fell on 4/20 so out of respect I decided to wait until today.

The update is this, I have it from an excellent source that Nick Ruthsatz will update the diocese decision next month (May) and the update might be in the form of a Q & A.  I assume that means Nick is going to ask the question and then Nick is going to answer the question.  If so, extra popcorn everyone, it should be entertaining.

✅ Completed with verbal confirmation from son Luke on March 7th 2025 who said he went to diocese confirming hisself & dad’s role. 
✅Confirmation from in person conversations & texts from multiple past CCH parents that they were contacted specifically from Jack to go to the diocese. Jack Lenihan was organizing this & reaching out to whoever would answer from teams at CCH from when my dad was there. 
Some of the past CCH parents contacted kids never even played varsity minutes… LOL..  So was it playing time or verbal abuse? Or targeting anyone & everyone involved in program that he thought was unhappy? 
So let’s make this very clear there was never any verbal abuse. That’s the buzzword they tried to use. Please give me a definition of “verbal abuse”. 
This whole thing comes down to playing time.. All alumni on the fence trying to come up with some reason my dad was called into the diocese for the first time in 13 years….heres your answer. 
When speaking to Luke on the phone he used multiple excuses when asked what the verbal abuse was:
When I asked what my dad said to Luke to make him go to the Diocese 7 years after he graduated HS the first response was⬇️
“Lets start from the beginning. Your old man’s an [redacted]” 
You can sense the bitterness in his heart & the VICTIM role he’s embraced. 
Next I ask what was the “Verbal abuse?”
#1. First response: “You know it” I respond saying I have 0 clue thats why I am asking you. 
I ask him Luke again “What did he say to you Luke?”
#2. Second response “It was 8 years ago Nick” So Luke doesn’t remember what he said last May… But he went to the diocese 7 YEARS after he graduated HS & REMEMBERED but now all of a sudden on March 7th he forgot about last May…..hmm..
#3. Third Response when asked about alleged verbal abuse Luke says “I did my job. Your old man’s fired. I’m done.” I ask him to confirm he tried to get my dad fired & he confirmed on phone. 
Yes Luke actually said this… just embarrassing & sad tbh. For the record my dad resigned.. Luke was taking pride in going to the diocese & trying to get my dad fired… Luke said a lot more but in all honesty for some reason I have a small sense of empathy for him considering the bitterness energy his dad embraces. I won’t go into more detail right now about the conversation on the phone. There was much worse said on his part but certainly helped clear many things up I had questions on and am at peace with. 
He was reminded multiple times other players/coaches were in the locker room & can confirm if any of this was true. 
Some context on the son. He didn’t get playing time. Scored around 25 points his entire JR year & never played SR year. Check his highlights on hudl if you don’t believe me. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4935834
If you didn’t play you didn’t get yelled at its that simple. Because ultimately you aren’t in a big enough role to even get yelled at. 
The energy you feel from Jack let’s you know if he’s willing to do this.. Then what else has he done to others? And believe me there are other families reaching out about how Jack treated them. Jack has serious insecurity issues & deserves the stares/lack of trust in the community. 
Sometime I will go live & answer any questions people may have. One step closer to moving on & will give final update.
The drama behind closed doors in this whole thing is ridiculous in all honesty. Remember every person including Jack I have tried to have in person convo with to clear up & they won’t. 
I am glad I can bring it to everyone else. Especially since everyone being grown adults.  I am glad y’all have been along for the ride??

1. Transparency for all families on how the Covington Diocese handles parent complaints & operates investigations listening to ONE side, and then makes decisions. Still seeking diocese decision on finishing the investigation.

3. Awareness of the lack of accountability & integrity in Cov Caths “Leaders” (completed)

Personally, I think it is good to see the truth exposed. I think in almost all instances the complainant should be publicized.

Does it bother you that the greatest coach in Cov Cath history was forced out the way he was?

How well do you know Scott? Not saying you don't, but knowing him for 10+ years since he moved to the area- I wouldn't expect him to make a big splash on social. Not his style. Some people liked him, others disliked him, but as long as I have known him I'd say he spends his time and energy on 1) his faith 2) his family and 3) pouring into his job [the players and program at CCH].

Laughable to think he was telling the truth? What did he say, specifically, that you deemed untruthful?

No. Where there is smoke, and a bunch of it, there is fire. He had a great run and I enjoyed the years of watching it. But it was time. I don’t lose sleep over it. 

This young man certainly isn't a pushover. If my dad were fired or forced to resign and I thought it was wrong, I'd 100% go to the ends of the earth to find out how, who and why. And If I was feeling 100% confident in my findings I'd do the same thing as he has. That being said, will we ever know the whole story from both sides? This will be a non-story before football season starts.
