Could be?  My assumption is always Beechwood will be one of the top teams in their class until proven otherwise.

Those are not scholarship offers.  Those are conversations like you said.  And many times, the kid mentions a D3 school who can't even give athletic scholarships.  

Unless there's paperwork sent to you, there is no offer.

Yeah these offers are not legit offer. If you are getting an offers as a freshman or sophomore. It just means schools are interested. They don't become committable until after junior season.

Not sure. If he is ruled ineligible, it could affect the offers he will get cause Junior year is usually when the offers start coming in. Does not help that he has been at 3 schools in like 2 years, especially when these 3 schools are all within a 20 minute drive of each other. Major red flag if you are trying to get recruited.  

With how easy it is to transfer anymore, does anyone really believe this young man won't eligible to play? I believe he'll be fine.

Well he played in a 7 v 7 against Highlands a week or so ago.

Seems like every year we hear about 100’s and 100’s of transfers for non-athletic reasons and Commissioner Tackett explaining it takes an overtaxed small staff a long time to review and rule on the transfer’s merits.  

Beechwood grad Cole Howard is playing football at US Coast Guard Academy.
