I don’t know who’s facilities are better or if there is any difference at all but you are acting like Glasgow has never upgraded their facilities and that’s simply not true they rebuilt all of their facilities from the ground up not remodeled since Barren did theirs but that it besides the point the last time I checked facilities didn’t win games and I assure you Barren and Hart will not dominate the Scotties in actual games in case you didn’t know Glasgow’s JV team was undefeated this year including a win over South Warren and that was without any of their great juniors playing who by the way will be seniors this year so I think the Scotties will be just fine.

The facilities point is indicative of each district’s continuing commitment to advancing their programs. 

Barren has clearly put their money into advancing their program. 

Glasgow has, as one other put it, put lipstick on a pig. 

Barren very likely pays its HC and Assistants more. Word on the street is that Glasgow’s HC pay is some of the lowest in the area. 

Such things do not turn a tide overnight, you are correct about that… BUT, over time, it does add up. Hubris is an ugly word.

I don’t understand the lipstick on a pig, please explain. They built new facilities from the ground up the only thing they didn’t do was put down a turf field and as far as the pay goes I don’t know what they pay their coaches and apparently neither do you since you said word on the street could it be you are a fan of a Scottie opponent now or in the past and you feel like dogging everything about the program makes you feel better.

In this particular post I do care what people have heard about this job. Has anyone heard anything about who is getting this job or who else might be a candidate? I don’t care if it’s grass or turf who might be coaching on it?

I have heard that because of many of the things you don't care about, there isn't the level of interest in the job that one would expect a job like Glasgow would generate... which in turn led to the discussions that you don't care about regarding the "why" of this lack of interest in what was once probably one of the five best jobs in South Central KY.

Discussing facilities as a factor is different than arguing between two schools on who has better facilities.

it’s not that I don’t care about the discussion it’s that it wasn’t a discussion about this job anymore.

The majority of their statistical leaders this past year were juniors.  Why would it have even been a consideration for them to play in the JV game?

That’s what I’m saying the JV team went undefeated and didn’t even play all their good junior players because they were playing varsity. So you take all those good juniors this year that will be seniors and put them with all those good young guys and they will probably be pretty tough.

I believe Hart loses alot, the past 2 years both classes have been really strong, probably the 2 best classes Hart County have ever had, and they happen to be back to back years. This might be the reason Griffin might be interested in leaving.
