Here is some irony for you. The two worst kickers in the NFL on 40+ tries are McPherson and .... wait for it .... Jake Elliott, the kicker the Bengals drafted in 2017 and then lost when they put him on the practice squad and the Eagles grabbed him. Elliott also signed a new contract this year and the Eagles are being asked about whether they are going to replace him.

Have noticed all season that all of his kicks are hooking sharply left, even his extra pts. are sneaking thru on the left side.  As a pro he must be watching film and comparing all aspects to the past because execution just has not been there for Money Mac in 2024.

As silly as we may sound with the year he’s had I agree, 1-6 in 1 score games, the 1 win was 21-14 against Cleveland and we probably don’t win that one if they put Winston in instead of DTR, the other teams we’ve beat are the Raiders, Giants and Panthers, all of which are having more pathetic seasons than us.

Not sure what's going on, but it's too soon to run Mcpherson out of town. With the Bengals likely out of the playoff hunt, you have to let him find his way out of his slump.

No way I cut him. But it is in his head now and the Bengals have zero margin for error. They can't wait on him to work it out. They lost last night trying to let him work it out.  If there is a better option for the next game, sign the kicker and play him. Mixe Mcpherson to reserves. I also like the message it sends the team. 

That game was basically the way the entire season has gone. Really struggle at times, yet still plenty of opportunities to win. Rather than find a way to win, this season the Bengals seemingly continue to find a way to lose.

Applying just a little basic math, the other 31 teams have averaged just a tick over two 30- point games.  The Bengals have had five.  I think we can agree that the biggest problem isn’t the placekicker.

It's a matter of when, not if a kicker loses it (mentally).
