Boyle should handle them pretty easily. This is not a particularly good CCH team compared to what they have had in the past.

I'm thinking this game may be closer than everyone is predicting.  A turnover here and there can make this game interesting.  Boyle just can't show up.  You can't go by last years State game as eveything went right for Boyle that night and everything went wrong for Cov Cath.  I remember a Bourbon County team (that we beat 35-0 earlier that year) coming back to town back in the 97 playoffs and spanked Boyle the second time around.

After the 6A upsets last week Boyle better come ready!   No one expected Great Crossings to knock off Manual.  Catholic has nothing to lose and that makes them dangerous.

I agree. Boyle better be ready to play. Covington Catholic has played some tough teams outside of there District, I don't think they will intimidated by Boyle, and will want a little get back from last year. Listened to Coach Haddix on the radio this morning and he said Covington Catholic returned a lot of player on defense from last year.

Boyle Co. wins for fun, 4 scores or more!! Who Ya With!!!

I did not realize that.  Maybe a little more optimism than.

They were bigger last year.

I coached a lot of years at all levels. Size doesn't matter that much in High School (it does in college), most big kids in High School can't move well. Boyle, I have watched in person, they are not big at all up front but very athletic and physically strong with great technique. Boyle's lineman all can move; the Kelly kid isn't huge #73 but special on both sides. Haddix pulls and moves him the entire game and runs behind him off the scout about 60 percent of the time. McClure is also a solid lineman for them on both sides. Also, 6'7 Driver will be one of the bigger recruits from KY in a long time in a couple years, he can fly also. Boyle won't past the eye test with the exception of Driver if you haven't seen them in person, but man they are fast all over, to me their speed is what makes Boyle extra special.

I agree with this assessment - hoping, skeptically, The Blue Colonels have a good showing, & are able to keep it close / competitive.

From my understanding Boyle has sponsorship and all homes games are streamed for free.

WITH A SPIRIT THAT WILL NOT DIE!

Boyle riding a 27 game homefield playoff winning streak.  Hasn't lost a at home playoff game since November 15th. 2013.

Boyle fans don't want to gloat and CovCath fans are smart enough to chill.

I still like Boyle to run away with this game.
