I take it the RPI is officially final by now?    

Does it really matter. Boyle County will be the State champion again. It doesn’t matter if they got to travel somewhere or not.

I prefer the 3 mile drive in the playoffs than traveling.  Coldest game I’ve ever been to in my life was that November early 2000 game.

I like that, let all the "maybe teams" have a shot at Boyle.  Let Tilghman and Franklin fight it out to meet Boyle in the finals, perfect.

Just like last year PT went into the final day #1 in RPI and took a pretty big drop on final night.  
Russellville actually had a decent year this season but both Boyle and Franklin had 6A bumps in their wins.  
It’s obviously good that they won’t have to face Boyle in the semis, but it would have been nice to host a semifinal game.  

I thought the third round went strictly off RPI, no East or West. This would be the potential match-ups according to RPI

No. District 1-4 (West) is reseeded. Then district 5-8 (East) is. 

Gotcha. 
Still confusing bc Cov Cath (East team) played  PT (West Team) in Semis and then Boyle in the finals last year, which means an east playing an east team in the finals. 

Reseeding in the semifinal round (4th) without regard to geography. Last year it was #1 CovCath hosting #4 Tilghman. #3 Boyle traveled to #2 Franklin County. First three rounds remain West/East.
