GoBucks97 Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 So now that all regions are set shall we get it going?! I'm taking Crossing vs Lyon in the upper half and Trinity vs Newport in the bottom half. Crossing Vs Trinity in the final, which will lead to Great Crossing being crowned champs!!
1Forrest1 Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Sleeping on Newport. Newport gets the rematch with Trinity and Crossing to bring the Championship to Newport. They will do it with or without Tay Kinney. This Newport Team is built different. 1
kyag Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Newport and Campbell County….16 miles apart from each other will drive close to 100 miles to play each other, March Madness! Congratulations to both NKY teams. I wonder how many times two teams from the same county have ever faced each other in the boys state tournament?

Breds82 Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 I'd venture it's happened a few time with the 6th and 7th regions being Louisville heavy

I'd guess that outside of Jefferson County it has never happened.
DearToday Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Top: Magoffin, Great Crossing, Lyon, Adair. Great Crossing Lyon. Great Crossing Bottom: Harlan County, Newport, Trinity, Evangel Christian. Harlan County (if Kinney is out an extended period of time), Trinity. Trinity Great Crossing over Trinity in the finals.
LLS10 Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Great Crossing/Trinity Finals. GC coming out on top.
TheBallCoach Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 A Great Crossing state championship with a +100 scoring margin over the 4 game stretch at Rupp. 100% rooting for Butler County to pull of an upset over Evangel. Would like to see those Dragons from Warren Central win a couple games as well. Trinity is the pick on the lower half, but I believe it to be more likely they don’t make the finals opposed to Great Crossing.
LouHSJunkie Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Semi Finals Lyon County versus Great Crossing Evangel Christian versus Newport Finals Lyon County over Evangel Christian

12th Region Fan Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 If one could rank the likelihood of first round upsets, what would the order be?

But beat Campbell regardless of if he does or not. Covington and Jackson will be to much. Starks and Turner will consume everything around them the rim. If Anderson and Silverton get hot it might get ugly. Lowe can get you a quiet 8–10 points as well.
