Cats lose their 2nd in a row and now 3 out of their last 4 games. Hopefully we can bounce back Tuesday vs. Vandy. The Vols scored their highest point total so far this season by 11 points.

Kentucky's bigs are soft and it's costing them ball games. 

Another year Kentucky doesn't get past the first weekend in the NCAA Tournament.

I was just sitting here wondering the same thing. 

Maybe it's cause I'm a Calipari apologist, but I refuse to believe that they have not watched tape and discussed what the man guarding the ball is supposed to do on baseline OB plays.

Twice, back to back. Once by Sheppard and the Reaves. Nowhere near protecting the basket. In fact, almost inviting it. I cannot even begin to fathom the possibility that isn't discussed.

Defense was again was no where to be found. People won’t get any argument from me in regards to complaining about Cal not making adjustments on defense. At this point there is no reason not to at least try a few different things like a zone to see if that helps at all. 

The biggest reason Ky can’t guard blob plays is because Cal doesn’t run any, since Cal doesn’t run any then you don’t get any real reps in practice guarding them therefore you’re not ready to guard them in the game

Aaahh, another convert, good to have you FC!!!  At this point how can you NOT mix in some zone here and there??!!  And I’m sick and tired of hearing Cal and others say “teams shoot out of their minds against us”, they do that because you are unbelievably bad defensively, what is it now, 7 games out of 21 that we’ve given up a career high to a player?  Complete lack of pride on the defensive end!

Mitchell looks tired to me. He just doesn't move as well or something. Legs seem heavy. I don't know what's changed for him.

Was he really that much better cause he was the only big?

I'm on repeat and will just keep it simple this time...

They desperately need a healthy and aggressive DJ Wagner.

Kentucky bigs, Mitchell, Bradshaw and Onyenso combined for 4 points and 17 rebounds.  If Dillingham doesn't have a the huge night that he did, this is probably a 25 point blowout win for Tennessee. 

When your head coach says he’s too good to change things for the good of his team, then very plain and simple he needs to go home!!!!!!
