Freshman struggle to guard.

A good zone looks like a man and a good man looks like a zone.

My old coach would say these all the time.  A zone may help a couple of possessions, but over time its going to be the same problem.

Get in the gym and spend time learning the defensive side of the ball.

If Cal would've played Sheppard more and Edwards less, we win by 10.

I will say it before anyone else does. Cal has got to have them foul after Dillingham's miss. I've become a believer in that strategy over the years in that situation.

I thought our guys ran out of juice last night.  Mitchell was definitely fatigued...Cal has gone from one extreme South Carolina where he over substituted to last night where he didn't sub enough.

While true that he went to a different extreme, but he kind of had to last night with injuries. No Wagner, Edwards, and then Theiro got hurt, even went to the locker room during the game at one point. And it seems apparent that Big Z can't really get minutes.

Bradshaw went from an All American candidate to a guy who will be lucky to get minutes.  What is going on with him?  Is he not playing hard?  Is he physically weak?

Not sure he was ever an all-American candidate. He was highly touted and does have an athletic skill set he will grow into, I believe. I think he was stunted not being able to start the season with the squad because of his injury. Bradshaw seems to have a poor feel for the game at this point in his young career.

He could use another 25 lbs on his frame.  But he's struggled with the more physical play of the SEC.  I also thinks he gets frustrated at the crap fouls he catches, but then doesn't get calls when guys are hanging on him.  I think he may let that get in his head a bit.

Bradshaw seems like a young fawn to me and the type of guy that could explode in a 2nd year of college after learning how to truly grow in strength and conditioning.

Yeah, he will get there.

... sadly for UK fans this will probably take place in the NBA. I could see him becoming a poor man's Myles Turner or Naz Reid type player.

Unfortunately I completely agree. He'll probably develop into a very solid role player in the NBA and Calipari will get blamed for not getting more out of him when he was 19 as he flourishes at 25.

This!

Very poor decision not fouling before the three got launched, still no defensive surprises, just plain man to man that got throttled all night, just barely can get the rock inbounds underneath with that pass being a lob to midcourt, just the usual occurrences with Cal at the helm, no Ships for Ky in SEC tournament and talking a National Ship is hilarious until Cal is gone and a climate change for UK basketball.

UK kids should be at maximum potential by their second week in Lexington, regardless if they are allowed to purchase alcohol or not. We all know this.

Been saying this for 9 years now, unless he gets 3 players like Davis, Jones and Gilchrist on the same team again, which is probably not gonna happen!!
