Final from Rupp. A tough loss the Cats failed to foul up 3 with :10 seconds left and allowed the Gators an open 3 to tie it and send it to overtime and just took control of the game in overtime for the win. A game the Cats should not have lost!

With a win would have been tied for 2nd with South Carolina and Auburn and now are in a 3-way tie for 5th place going into the Tennessee game.

Seems like Tre Mitchell's performance has fallen off.

If Cal would've played Sheppard more and Edwards less, we win by 10.

The tape on the defensive end is not going to treat Reed Sheppard very well. The highlight clip for Walter Clayton that they showed with 1:13 left in OT will show ya.

He played really well offensively but really needs to cut down the ball watching. It's like is hunting where to take his chance to help off and get a steal, which he does really well, but you can't do it when you're guarding a shooter, especially one that is torching you.

Onyenso sure is showing out for this team.

Woof. He rebounded well but was atrocious offensively.

I will say it before anyone else does. Cal has got to have them foul after Dillingham's miss. I've become a believer in that strategy over the years in that situation.

A zillion trillion coaches make that same stupid mistake.

I see it happen so often. You have to guard outside in when you have that three point lead. Let them go by you for the two pointer, just no open 3 pointer. Hard to go against basic defensive principles you have been drilled on - stay between your man and the basket. But with the 3 point lead, stay between your man and the 3 point line. Let him go inside. That is something you need to practice.

My two least favorite teams won tonight - Florida, and the team that was playing Kentucky. It’s always a dark day when Florida wins a game.
