Final. It was a good thing we shot 62% from the floor and 56% from 3 tonight. The defense has to get better way too many straight-line drives to the basket. 

The Cats lost focus down the stretch. They played the final 7-8 minutes of game time as if they thought it was under a minute left. Very sloppy.

Awesome to see Big Z out there, finally. I can overlook the tech. That had to feel good.

The Last 10 minutes left a lot to be desired for Kentucky defense.  But I can't fault them too much.  I don't expect that to happen again.  I think there was a lot of emotion and relief for everyone with Big Z getting to play, his play and just the teams play. They checked out a bit too early but that's easy to fix IMO. 

With Big Z free, they now could truly platoon if Cal wants when Theiro is healthy. 

Fun game.

Z's first half was just crazy, kid was not overwhelmed by the opportunity. 

Cal said on post game that Theiro is working out again, but didn't say when to expect him back.

It's going to be a fun ride here on out.

I've been saying for over a month this team is really missing Thiero.  Now with Z free, a healthy Thiero is just icing on the cake, although I'm expecting some rust from Thiero and Z won't be a highlight reel EVERY game, I don't think.  The SEC should really hope that's true as well.

They literally could go with this platoon and be pretty darn good. I put Ugo in with that starting group, this way there is a shot blocker in both groups, Ugo in one and Big Z in the other. Could even have one of the two groups just practice nothing but a zone defense, just to really switch things up on teams. I know none of that will ever happen, but it’s fun to think about lol.

Shooters need time to have rhythm, platooning is not working for this team filled with great shooters.

Well Shepppard is leading the SEC in 3 point % and I think 3rd or 4th in the nation in 3point %.

I do, just don’t mess up his flow when entering the game along with other shooters that need rhythm and yes, Shep has deserved the right to start the game.

Agree 100% , no idea why he continues to start games with zero production!! Offensively or defensively!!

We all know why Edwards is starting. Cal does it every year for one or two guys that don’t deserve to
