If you can’t handle scrutiny then don’t apply for a paid position of power. I don’t love the fact that people complain about things but this is reality. Everybody is not going to constantly pat you on the back, no matter your occupation. But definitely don’t be a head football coach if your skin is that thin and you can’t handle criticism without publicly lashing back and trying to convince everyone how great and wonderful you are. Especially don’t do it at a school function that should be all about recognizing and appreciating the kids that ultimately determine your success.

When I played in HS it resulted in extra conditioning for the first offense and loss of playing time after that.

Yes, please explain the job of a Head Coach to Coach Hines and his 30 years of experience in the job, State Championship, and multiple Coach of the Year awards...

It shouldn't have been done at the banquet but I think he was telling the parents don't complain and plant negativity in the players/kids heads. Sure, every program is going to have parents that disagree with the decisions but when the players take on the same mentality it bleeds out into the rest of the team and can change the whole trajectory of the season.

If you click on it, the bottom line says "P.S. Please don't share this with anyone. Thanks"
That makes no sense to me.

Is this some sort of joke? Please tell me this is a joke. We are joking, right? Does this coach have a tendency to make jokes when things are tense? LOL, Is He Gen X? So many questions, I am invested at this point. LOL. In all seriousness, I hope they get this figured out and are able to move forward.
