Atwell's 60 touchdown passes places him 3rd on the all-time single season list. Three more would pass Lexington Catholic's Justin Burke for 2nd place.  He passed Drew Hartz for the Owensboro Cath

Atwell was Catholic's starting Inside Linebacker the first three or four games of the season. He also did not play in the 2nd half after the Henderson County game on 9/15 until the last regular season game against North Hardin. The semi-final game against Somerset is the only playoff game that he has played in the second half. Now, I am sure that the same is true for a lot of these great QB's. Especially true for the ones on great teams that can't help who is in their districts.

This is one serious write up.  Fantastic work here.  Question, is Hayden from Beechwood a Jr or Soph?  I was thinking He was a Soph….

He's a junior.... and everyone on Beechwood's schedule is glad he's not a sophomore.

He is on our schedule so allow me to go ahead and confirm that.

Simon Kenton Brady Lee 2105 passing yards 306 rushing 26 total tds.

I think Beechwood’s QB had 9 games where he only played one half of the game.

I am sure most of these QB's are in the same boat from that perspective.  The running clock definitely hurts the stats of good players on really good team.

But it also keeps some "mercy" in the game.

Are there any QBs you would add to this list?

What about the kid from Cooper.  He has been offered by Kentucky and being seriously recruited by a lot of Power 5 programs.  I haven’t seen him play but the kid must have something they like.

Bryce Button

There are a lot of really good QB in Kentucky this season and some that are still young.  I cannot remember the QB play being this good in a long time.

QB Kace Eastridge at Campbellsville High School... 800 yds rushing, 1,885 passing and 33 total TD's in his Sophomore Year...
