Happened in the 90s and early 2000s as well.  When I coached at Doss, one of the coaches drove the activity bus so after practices in the fall, he was responsible for taking the bus and driving the football players, volleyball players, etc. home who didn't have a ride.  When I coached at Seneca, our head coach, Lonnie Oldham, was the bus driver ?.  He drove the team to camp in the preseason and all of our games during the season.  You figured out a way to get things done back then.

Coach V, Steve Vessel. I know him, he coached their with Dan Kopp, who is a Trinity friend of mine.

Yes sir, I was there with Coach V for a year and also with him when we went with Doug Lucas to Bullitt Central for a few years.  Rob Piercy was also at Doss with us and he later went on to coach at Trinity for a little bit also.

Many of the private schools in Louisville have been taking calls today from disgruntled parents wanting better for their kids.

Just an abomination what JCPS has become. Not for many of the teachers but the way it is run. Just ineptitude at its highest level.

Absolutely, we were legit good in 2003.  Didn't end the way you hope, but that's the case for 97% of the teams in Kentucky every year.  Lonnie left after that year and went to Western Hills in Cincy.  Our OC, Louis Dover, took over Seneca after that and of course he's at Fairdale now.  I can say I've been fortunate enough to be a part of a few different teams, in some capacity or another, that has pulled an upset or surprised a team or two.  It's a great feeling when you watch those kids accomplish something that nobody else says or thinks they can.

Just seen some funny Facebook posts about JCPS having snow days in August. Bullitt East making fun of their poor planning of snow days lol.

This is huge. Don’t know how fast some can pull this off for football season. But basketball season may of just got more interesting.

My friend just told me that UPS offered to help from the beginning, FOR FREE, and JCPS outsourced to some other company that had already failed at a school system in Ohio. 

Somebody's pockets got greased.

Sad to say but very thankful my daughters have graduated and moved on from JCPS. 
 

By the way, good source says BG will scrimmage CAL tomorrow night at CAL. BG was set to scrimmage Male. Thank you CAL.
